What makes you think you'll be successful in your own business this time around?
69A BIG Question for you
Have you joined more than one Network Marketing company, started a small home business, or tried internet marketing? Each time, was this one "it", the right one to make all the money you ever dreamed of? I am just wondering because this is actually me, I feel like I finally found what I want to do and then was confronted by my husband, with this question, "How is this different than anything you have tried in the past?" My answer made no sense to him because he still looks at owning and pursuing a home business the way I used to. And so, I have outlined a few thoughts below that you can ask yourself this time around to see if you are walking down the same path with the same results, or if it is a new path that could have potentially WONDERFUL new results.
- Do you realize this is a business and not a JOB? (Okay, I don't think I understood the difference about 5 years ago...I just wanted to make some money! I felt the only way to make money was to sell the products, and didn't understand the concept of building.)
- Do you realize that businesses take some type of investment in time and money? (I kind of thought that having to "buy" products/invest in overhead was a rip off, again, thinking more from a job perspective V. a business perspective.)
- Do you realize that you need to find mentors? People you trust and connect to that can train you in marketing, personal development, prospecting, etc.
- Do you realize that you have to commit and work your business, or your business will not grow? (If you were your boss, would you fire or promote you?)
- Do you realize that building a business will take time without overnight results, but with time and effort, it can grow exponentially and in ways you never dreamed of?
- Do you realize, as in Jim Rohn's words, that your business will grow only as much as you grow personally. Personal development is key.
Now that I truly understand the beauty of having a home business, there is no turning back for me. What a wonderful way to achieve true success: personally and financially!
And I have come so far personally, as a wife and mother, and financially! I putting a few of my sites below just to show that it is possible to build slowly. I have moved into internet marketing somewhat, but make my money mainly from Adsense. Adsense has a world of potential, but beyond just trying to make a quick buck, I am enjoying writing.
What I am working on is travel blogs. I realized that I like to write, I like to travel, I like to feel successful, and yes, I like to make money that seems to slowly but surely increase everyday!
So, if you want to start a business that you work from home, I ecourage you to do it and find the right people who will support and mentor you!
